Art director

We’re looking for an art director to work on our employer branding and change communications projects. A creative mind who can make cybercriminals say “FML”, “putain” and “shit” – courtesy of the Belgian Federal Police, one of our many brilliant clients. We like our work sharp. Smart, too. Sounds like you?

What our art director does

Those swear words in the introduction are not there to shock people (well, not just to shock people anyway). They were the result of a good idea. And suddenly the police were saying something you’d never expect them to say. That’s what we do: find new ways to get people’s attention. And that’s why we need you.

One campaign is not going to make people change jobs. It takes a series of ideas that gradually start to resonate. And you’ll be coming up with those for very different audiences. One day, you might be talking to judges. The next, to shop managers. That variety is exactly what makes the work so rewarding.

And we do more than employer branding. We also work on change communication, helping organisations with mergers, new strategies and new ways of working. As it happens, we’re going through a bit of a transformation ourselves. So one thing’s for sure: it won’t be boring.

What we are looking for

  • You understand that great ideas rarely arrive fully formed. You’re happy to challenge, refine and rework until they’re just right. In other words: you can take feedback.
  • You know that the strongest ideas have staying power. One-off stunts are not your shtick.
  • You enjoy tackling complex briefs and wrestling with a problem until you find the right solution.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment. We support each other and leave our egos at the door.
  • You’re interested in creating work that goes beyond the usual employer branding and HR clichés.
  • You never settle for the obvious.

What's in it for you

Our office in Ghent, just around the corner from The Loop, is pretty lively. You’ll be joining a team with plenty of expertise and a genuine we’ve-got-your-back mentality. A few other perks:

  • €1,000 a year to spend on training and development, because we’re big on learning and sharing knowledge.
  • Plenty of ways to get around, including a lease bike, an electric company car with charging card, or a train pass.
  • Extras like a flexible benefits plan, health and group insurance, internet allowance, meal vouchers, eco vouchers and an annual bonus.
  • Fresh soup every day, and office fruit as the cherry on top.
