Turning a complex logistics group into one global brand and digital platform

Client  Paxon ↗

Summary

Paxon, a bnode company, brings multiple logistics businesses, services and markets together under one name.

We turned that complexity into one clear brand, service architecture and digital platform, built on a structured content system that works across markets, pages and AI workflows.

The challenge

One new brand. Many different realities.

Paxon brought together established logistics businesses across Europe and North America, each with its own services, expertise, terminology and market position. The website was only one part of the challenge.

First, we had to understand how those businesses fit together: where services overlapped, where they differed, and how customers could navigate the combined offer without losing the expertise behind it.

Then that structure had to work across two very different markets and hundreds of pages.

The approach

First, structure the business. Then structure the experience.

Surveys and interviews across the organisation mapped audiences, services and areas of expertise. That research became the foundation for Paxon’s information architecture: one structure that accommodates the differences between Europe and North America and still presents one coherent organisation.

From there, we developed the brand identity, tone of voice and digital design system. Components were designed and technically validated with stakeholders before development.

At the heart of the platform sits Sanity. Information is structured into reusable content models: services, expertise and other business information are managed once and used wherever the experience needs them. That same structure became the foundation for AI.

With more than 200 pages to create across markets and language variants, we built the Paxon Content Machine: a custom AI-supported workflow that turns structured briefings into page copy within Paxon’s content models. Tone of voice, terminology, SEO requirements, field lengths and regional language rules are built in, and every page goes through review and approval before it flows into Sanity.

The AI works with the same content structure as the website. Editors stay in control.

The impact

Paxon launched with a complete digital foundation: one service architecture, one digital design system and a structured content platform that supports a complex international organisation as it grows.

Content is managed once and reused across pages. Sanity gives teams one foundation to manage it, and the Content Machine turns large-scale content creation into a governed, repeatable workflow.

The same foundation makes the next digital experience easier to build, whether that is another market, interface or AI-driven application. With the platform live, the focus now shifts to continuous growth through SEO and GEO.

The launch was the starting point.
